Educating Our Students
It’s important to us that our community understand how the wind farm works and the benefit it brings back to the community and the environment.
We visited both the 298 and Rasmussen campuses of The Horsham Primary School in September to speak with the students about renewable energy. Over 100 students enjoyed an interactive hour learning about renewables, the environment, and how a wind turbine functions. The highlight was construction of miniature cardboard turbines generously provided by the turbine manufacturers, Senvion.
If you would like us to visit your school to talk about renewable energy, please contact Susan Findlay Tickner at firstname.lastname@example.org.
